What makes the UIC a different type of agriculture association is that we do not have any financial, political, or business objective outside of facilitating the communication between our member organizations. We also engage in developing public private partnerships and programs that further enhance the mutual benefit of our members by creating additional opportunities for their organizations in the evolving agricultural landscape.
Many leaders have shared that one of the greatest benefits they have received is the access to resources available through networking and the subsequent development of business relationships during meetings.
UIC conferences enable leaders to remain current regarding scientific breakthroughs and emerging technologies outside of their primary area of expertise. In addition, participants regularly identify changes they will make upon returning home.
There have been many university to university, university to industry, and industry to industry arrangements that have occurred as a direct result of the participation of our members and guests in the UIC.
Participation in Public Private Partnerships, Laboratory Practices, Soft skills Assessment, and other projects benefit the outreach and awareness of UIC organizations.
